From positive CR, usually fine, though he might act put-upon about it depending on context. From strangers, highly context-dependent. From negative CR, feel free to try but he's not afraid to push back.
⯌ Mental Contact Go for it, though you may get more than you bargained for; at most canon points I play him from, his mind is an absolute dumpster fire. His memories are fucked up, he suffers from severe cases of both mundane and supernatural PTSD, and he sometimes hallucinates, particularly when Jenova-related phenomena are present.
⯌ Flirt Go ahead; he's kind of oblivious, so he may not notice, or he may notice and get self-conscious and/or uncomfortable. Light banter is the best way to flirt with him and get something positive in return.
⯌ Fight Absolutely. Cloud's a scrappy little shit and always willing to fight if the situation calls for it.
