[Cloud is a little surprised that Squall doesn't seem to have changed his plans even knowing that Rufus has actively opposed them, but then, he hardly has any room to talk, he supposes.]

[He pauses for a moment before continuing.]

[It's something he's noticed recently about Cloud, he seems to like being a bit manhandled and while Squall isn't used to doing that he can pretend if it means he might hear Cloud moan on the other line. [Man...look, Cloud knows he shouldn't feel weird talking about this stuff to his own boyfriend, but that's just it - he usually doesn't talk about this stuff much at all. With Zack, yeah, sometimes, but that's different. Zack was his first, taught him a lot. Has already seen Cloud make a fool of himself in bed multiple times.

But Squall? Squall thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. Cloud's still not sure why, but he doesn't want to change Squall's mind. And yeah, he knows it's stupid to feel embarrassed about things he's already done with Squall, but he does anyway. His face does heat up to that rosy shade Squall's probably imagining right now. It'd be one thing if any of the manhandling was actually forced and he liked the feeling of being truly pinned - which he does, with Sephiroth primarily, and occasionally the other SOLDIERs. But with Squall and Rufus and others, it's not force; it's the illusion of force. There's no way Squall could actually stop him from moving with his strength alone. So when Cloud lets him do it anyway, it will be because he's willingly pretending to be weaker than he is, and he feels extremely weird about that.

Still...weirdness and embarrassment aren't the only things he feels. He thinks he's starting to see why phone sex is a thing. He slips a hand into his pants and takes himself in hand, stroking idly for now.]
