Haven't you seen all the weird-looking chocobos from different worlds around? Just because we don't have that kind of bird back home, doesn't mean they don't exist anywhere.

Haven't actually left the apartment today, mostly observing from the window at this point.

From a hundred and fifty feet up they all look rather same-ish. We're going to go looking though in a bit, to see if they're tame or not. It might be nice to have alternatives to on foot or the trolley!

I took a photo of her. You can do it with your earpiece. Just find something that looks like a rectangle with a circle in it, it's the symbol for a camera. Then just point and shoot.

What's your festival like?

It's a pumpkin festival to celebrate the autumn harvest. The village gets decorated with some lights and we carve pumpkins and have a communal potluck, and kids do dress up according to an old legend about scaring away monsters that come down from the mountain, but that's about it.

Do you have this holiday at home?

That sounds really beautiful. I'm a little sad that I won't be able to see it.

Yea, we have Halloween where I'm from. It's kind of similar to your festival in that people decorate with lights and silly or spooky decorations. There's pumpkin carving, and bobbing for apples, and people dress up in costumes. Kids go around from door to door saying "trick or treat" and get candy, or small toys, or popcorn. There was this one family on my block that always gave out coloring books and crayons.
